make sensors for innovation Optoelettronica Italia Sri, also known as Optoi Microelectronics, was founded in Trento (ITALY) in 1995, following a successful spinoff initiative from the Institute of scientific and technological research named FBK, and located in Trento as well. Optoi still has an important and strategic collaboration with such Institute regarding applied research, in the field of technological production as well as the design and testing of microelectronic devices, both standard and customized. Since its origin, Optoi centred its core business on microelectronic packaging, providing a qualified and appreciated competence matured in a rapid growth. Optoi is currently involved in partnerships with European research institutes, Universities and international Silicon Wafer Foundries.
