The TS5 fiber optic temperature probe is designed for high resistance and minimal diameter, ideal for catheter applications in modern medical technology. It provides rapid measurement data with a response time of 2 seconds and an accuracy of +/- 0.2°C. The sensor tip, made of GaAs-crystal, has a diameter of 0.55mm, making it the thinnest in the Optocon product line. The probe length is variable from 10mm to 600mm, ensuring flexibility for medical applications. The PTFE jacket ensures immunity to various radiations, and the sensor can be connected to FOtemp devices for reliable data. Sensor cables can be extended without affecting accuracy, and custom lengths and connectors are available.
