The TS2 fiber optic temperature probe is designed for diverse applications, including use inside generators, power transformers, and bus bars. It offers complete immunity to RFI, EMI, NMR, and microwave radiation, making it ideal for challenging environments. The sensor has a response time of 2 seconds and an accuracy of +/- 0.2°C, ensuring precise and repeatable measurements. The PTFE-coated sensor features a 1.0mm fiber tip with a serial ST-connector. Special protective coatings and hoses are available for mechanical stability in oil applications.
The TS2 probe consists of a PTFE-protected glass fiber and a GaAs-crystal at the sensor tip, making it metal-free and suitable for high-temperature ranges and aggressive environments. It can be connected to FOtemp devices for reliable measurements. The sensor cable can be extended to several meters or kilometers without affecting accuracy. Custom sensor lengths and connector types are available upon request.
