The MDI-3100 is a 2D CMOS Imager known for its extremely high-speed performance, low power consumption, and easy installation. It includes an integrated decoder and a data editing program.
The device uses a 12-pin FFC connector for serial CMOS communication. It requires a voltage of 3.0 to 5.5V, with a maximum current consumption of 390mA at 3.0V and 260mA at 5.5V.
The imager features a CMOS area sensor with 752 x 480 pixels and a scan rate of up to 60 fps. It uses a green LED for aiming and a red LED for illumination. The reading angles include a pitch angle of -50 to +50 degrees, a skew angle of -50 to +50 degrees, and a tilt angle of 360 degrees. The MDI-3100 supports a wide range of 1D barcodes, postal codes, and 2D codes, including QR codes, Data Matrix, and PDF417.
The device operates in temperatures from -30 to 60°C and can be stored in temperatures from -40 to 70°C. It withstands humidity levels of 5-90% non-condensing and is resistant to ambient light up to 100,000 lx. It has a drop test durability of 1.8 meters onto a concrete surface and an MTBF of 50,000 hours.
The dimensions are 25.3 x 12.4 x 21.2 mm, and it weighs approximately 8 grams.
The MDI-3100 complies with RoHS and IEC62471 standards.
