OMVE CF211 & CF212 Carbo-Fill®

Product catalog summary
Features & Benefits
The OMVE CF211 & CF212 Carbonators operate in both batch and continuous modes to ensure uniform CO₂ saturation and consistent product quality, which is crucial for food safety. They feature a 46L pressurized tank with a net capacity of 42L to maintain the required CO₂ pressure for consistent carbonation throughout the filling process. These systems can process between 5L to 42L of product, catering to varying production demands. They are equipped with food-grade pumps and valves and have a compact, integrated cooling system that allows for a wide variety of beverages to be produced without requiring extensive space. An extended Clean-in-Place (CIP) package with wider drains enables quicker and easier cleaning cycles by automatically emptying or filling the product vessel.
Carbonation Excellence
The CF211 & CF212 models are designed for precise pre-mix and post-mix operations, ensuring exceptional accuracy in carbonation and dosing. The CF211 fills one bottle or can per minute with a single filling head, while the CF212, with two filling heads, fills each bottle or can in an average of 40 seconds. Both models feature a Clean-in-Place (CIP) program that connects to an external CIP unit for automatic cleaning. They are versatile, able to fill glass bottles with crown corks, PET bottles with screw caps, and cans, meeting diverse packaging needs. Automatic closing devices for PET and glass can be integrated into the filling chamber.
Working Principle
The CF211 and CF212 models use a seamless carbonation process with a specially designed OMVE CO₂ injector. The process begins by cooling the product to the optimal temperature, followed by CO₂ injection for efficient, uniform saturation while maintaining key temperature and pressure parameters. A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) ensures consistent saturation at about 1 liter per minute, preparing the product for filling. During filling, the packaging is precisely aligned, pre-flushed with CO₂ for stabilization, pressurized, filled, and then depressurized for retrieval. Both models can store up to 50 operational programs, allowing quick adjustments for various beverages and production needs, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
Process Parameters
The maximum operational pressure is 3 bar (43.5 psi), with an internal cooling temperature of 4-6°C (39-42.5°F) with an accuracy of 0.1°C (0.18°F). The flow rate is 60L/hr for CF211 and 105L/hr for CF212, with a maximum CO₂ content of 11g/L. The cleaning temperature can reach a maximum of 80°C (176°F). The standard saturation vessel is 46L, with the CF211 weighing 430kg (948lbs) and the CF212 weighing 480kg (1085lbs). The dimensions are 63 x 34.6 x 76 inches.
Required Utilities
Electrical supply is 200-240Vac /1ph+N+E /50Hz/ 16A or 200-240Vac /2ph+E /60Hz/16A. Water supply requires 2-3 bar (29-43 psi), compressed air requires 6 bar (87 psi), and CO₂/Nitrogen supply requires 4-5 bar (58-72.5 psi). Drains are required.
Applications
The carbonators are suitable for a wide range of applications, including energy drinks, spirits, malt-based beverages, club soda, seltzer water, flavored carbonated beverages, functional beverages, dairy & plant-based beverages, non-alcoholic cocktails, alcoholic cocktails, and tea & coffee-based carbonates.
Optional Accessories
Optional accessories include integrated cappers for PET and glass bottles, an external can seamer, a built-in vacuum pump for deaeration, an additional pre-cooler for increased efficiency, a nitrogen connection for non-carbonated drinks, hot filling capability from external HTST/UHT systems, and a syrup dosing pump for post-mix production.
