Description

The MAXv family of Motion Controllers by OMS Motion, Inc. offers advanced motion control technology for servo and stepping motors. It features a powerful 266 MHz 32-bit RISC processor, providing up to 8 axes of motion control on a single card compatible with VME bus computers. The controller supports both open and closed stepper or servo axes, with additional encoder inputs for precision control.

Programming

Programming is facilitated through ASCII commands, allowing for sophisticated motion profiles. Commands are stored in a FIFO queue for sequential execution, enabling complex command sequences to be managed efficiently.
