Product catalog summary
TOUCHDEX Indexing Tables Overview

Description and Operating Instructions:
The TOUCHDEX system is a high-precision CNC indexing table featuring an exclusive mechanical clamping system known as the 'LOCKING PIN'. This system provides a clamping force 2 to 3 times greater than ordinary index tables, allowing for heavy machining with indexing accuracy of less than 30" and repeat accuracy of ±3". The system is designed for high rigidity and precision, ensuring no backlash throughout its lifespan.

Versatility:
TOUCHDEX requires minimal space due to its lack of motorized parts and can be installed on multi-pallet machining centers, both vertical and horizontal. It is easily mounted as it does not require power control cables, facilitating easy displacement between machining centers.

Model Variants:
Various models are available, including FDR for two-direction indexing and rotation, FDM for horizontal or vertical installation, and FD models for specific indexing angles. The TILTING 230-150 model integrates FDR-230 and FDM-150 for five-face machining.

Working Mechanism:
The operation involves pressing a pushbar to retract the lock pin, allowing the faceplate to rotate. The lock pin re-engages to fix the table once the pushbar returns to its top position.

Programming:
Programming involves setting positions A and B with fast feed and machining feed rates. The system supports manual mode for precise indexing adjustments.

Specifications and Tolerances:
Specifications include table diameter, spindle bore diameter, center height, and indexing angles. Tolerances for table center hole run-out, surface run-out, and squareness are specified at 0.01 mm and 0.03 mm respectively.

Accessories:
Accessories include tail stocks, end supports, greasing sets, manual handles, mounting flanges, and brake rings. Specific codes and models are provided for each accessory.

Examples and Applications:
Examples demonstrate the use of TOUCHDEX tables with various accessories and configurations for different machining applications.
