SRL has introduced a variant www.omeps.it of the tipping silo semi-trailer CR60: a cylindrical multi-compartment vessel exclusively for granulates.

The present invention grants the opportunity to carry and unload multiple granular products inside the same tipping tank. The cylindrical vessel was divided into 3 compartments (not-watertight), while the crossbars of the chassis were discharge pipe .

The solution achieved The two front compartments are separated by pneumatically controlled shutter downfall discharge of the product, and there are two outlet holes below the vessel, used for pneumatic discharge. The unloading of the rear compartment (both downfall and pneumatic) is performed through the rear discharge cup.

Discharge of the products During the downfall discharge the compartments become comunicating through the opening of all bulkheads operated control panel. bulk load flows out from the rear discharge cup. For possible to choose the compartment to unload, by activating the corresponding butterfly valve on the control panel. The material then comes out of each compartment through the side outlet positioned laterally to the cup.

Due to the above described modifications the tipping silo semi-trailer OMEPS CR60 multi-compartment meets the requirements of customers who need to transport various qualities of the same GRANULATED products inside the same tipping tank (e.g. coffee, grains, plastics etc.)
