Fabricated Thermowells with Compression Gland Stainless Steel Thermowells with Welded Compression Fitting U Low Cost U Easy to Install 1 U ⁄2" BSPT Process Connection U 316 Stainless Steel U or 3 or 6 mm (0.12 or F 0.24") Diameter Probes OMEGA’s range of fabricated stainless steel thermowells with a welded compression fitting are designed for use with our 3 or 6 mm (0.12 or 0.24") diameter thermocouple or Pt100 sensors. They are ideally suited to applications where the sensor may need to be removed without affecting the process, such as in pipes and tanks. The insertion length is measured from the base of the threads to the tip of the thermowell. The “To Order” table below lists our standard models. Omega manufactures thermowells with many different fittings, diameters, lengths and materials. Please contact our sales department to discuss your specific requirements.
