PULLER GENERAL PERFORMANCES Overhead double puller OMAV. MAIN FEATURES OMAV has engineered and build pullers up to 4000 kg. OMAV produces different types of pullers according to the customer’s needs: - Overhead/lateral double pullers with positionable saw. Flying cut double puller with separate flying saw (3 machines). Flying cut double puller with saw on board for the hand-off type (2 machines). Since 2002 all OMAV’s pullers has been engineered and build with a drive system really new and interesting. - The drive motor is installed directly on board on the puller carriage. The movement occurs thorough a rack and pinion system (helical-toothed). The Electric power is fed by contact rails, as the customer specified. However, it may also use a power track instead of sliding contact rails, according to the preference of the user. Smooth and precise movement of the puller carriage with no surface damage to the profiles (vibrations, die marks…).
