The OLTREMARE vertical bucket elevators have been especially designed and manufactured to lift the most of bulk materials such as: dry and wet grains, seeds, flours, granular and powdery products in general. They are used in feed mills, grain and seeds factories, cashew nut processing factories, dairy factories, chemical plants, cement and pottery factories etc. The vertical bucket elevator is composed of four main groups: head section with drive components, boot section, leg section and belt with buckets section. Boot receives the product, provides a solid base to the elevator and a proper belt tension. Head discharges the lifted product and activates the belt with buckets thanks to the motorization. Legs are rectangular hollow section pipes inside which belt with buckets runs. Galvanized sheet structure, boot made of modular galvanized bolted steel components with screw or counterweight belt tightener, cleaning shutters and inspection window, legs with electrically welded frame, head made of modular galvanized bolted steel components with protection case that can be dismantled and divided into two halves, motor-driven, rubber belt and iron buckets.
