The fire hose is constructed with a high-quality, lightweight synthetic rubber interior based on EPDM, and an exterior jacket made of 100% high tenacity synthetic polyester yarn, circular-woven in a twill weave with multiple twisted warp and weft threads.
Product Features
The hose is designed to be very lightweight to ease the burden on firefighting forces. It has a very good kink radius for high flexibility and low friction/pressure loss due to its smooth EPDM rubber lining. The EPDM lining is extremely resistant to aging, ozone, and UV radiation. It is root resistant, low maintenance, cold resistant up to -40°C, and heat resistant up to +100°C for water. It is also suitable for seawater, hot water, water steam, and many other chemicals.
Service Options
Custom printing, such as company logos, is available. The hose can be connected with both national and international couplings. Various binding options are offered, including wire, smartFIT, clamps, Iconos, Innotrade, and press sleeves. Impact and abrasion cuffs are available over the binding, either smooth or conical. Repair or sliding sleeves come in different designs. Innovations include smartFIT, smartPROTECT, RFID chips, and edge gliders. On customer request, hoses can be double rolled, untwisted, and provided with a factory test report.
