The tools are engineered to suit the diameter reduction of the application and are selected based on the required swaging force to achieve desired roundness. These pincers are ideal for low volume assembly, field work, and prototype development.

Benefits
  • High quality design
  • Easy to use
  • Durable and reliable swaging
  • Minimal swaging time for fast and easy installation
  • Compound action for superior mechanical advantage
  • Custom jaws to suit customer application

Models
  • HIP 7000 | MCR: Ratchet Pincer, lightweight, single-handed use, releases when full closure is achieved.
  • HIP 11000 | MCR: Heavy Duty Pincer, achieves high jaw forces for wider band and thicker wall rings.
  • HIP 16000 | MCR: Heavy Duty Pincer, similar to HIP 11000 but for larger applications.

Technical Specifications
  • HIP 7000 | MCR: Length 290 mm, Width 77 mm, Height 23.4 mm, Weight 680 g, Reference jaw force 7,000 N.
  • HIP 11000 | MCR: Length 305 mm, Width 108 mm, Height 29 mm, Weight 1600 g, Reference jaw force 11,000 N.
  • HIP 16000 | MCR: Length 380 mm, Width 120 mm, Height 29 mm, Weight 2000 g, Reference jaw force 16,000 N.

Instruction Guide for Ratchet Pincer HIP 7000 | MCR
  1. Begin swaging with one hand.
  2. Squeeze handles to compress the ring.
  3. If more force is needed, use two hands.
  4. Process completes when handles stop and release.

Important Notice
Hand pincer closing force consistency cannot be guaranteed due to variability in applied force. Reference jaw forces are guidelines only. It is the responsibility of the end-user to ensure worker safety and final connection integrity.

Hand Installation Pincers for Multi Crimp Rings CLOSING FORCE COMPARISON CHART The mechanical advantage increases as the jaws are closed, thus providing for high clamping forces when needed most. Jaw force (N) @ 311N applied force  !    otice: Hand pincer closing force consistency cannot be N guaranteed, given the inherent variability of applied force. Reference jaw forces are guidelines only, actual pincer force varies on basis of applied hand force, local worker safety limits and specific application properties. Max closing force of clamp may be exceeded. It is the responsibility of the end-user...
