The ideal solution for obtaining high yield of “Hominy grits”. A conical rotor with special profile removes the germ and hull of the corn by abrasive action. Primary separation of the fine sized product is made through the screen mounted on the stator. The conical stator, in chilled cast iron, is provided with cone shaped indented areas and helical serrations. The rotor has removable plates for easy maintenance.
