Overview: This document provides detailed specifications and guidelines for various types of pneumatic tubing, including polyethylene and polyurethane options. It includes information on dimensions, color coding, and material properties.
Specifications:- Polyethylene Tubing: Available in fractional inch and metric sizes. Known for flexibility, chemical resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Temperature range: -100°F to +175°F (-73°C to +80°C).
- Polyurethane Tubing: Made from 95A Durometer hardness compound, offering flexibility and resistance to moisture, fungus, and chemicals. Temperature range: -40°F to +165°F (-40°C to +75°C).
Color Coding: Each tubing type requires a color code suffix for identification. Default colors are provided if no specific color is selected.
Custom Options: Custom sizes, cut lengths, reel lengths, and colors are available upon request.
Recommendations:- For applications with prolonged UV exposure, black polyethylene tubing is recommended.
- Polyurethane tubing is ideal for applications requiring high flexibility and low temperature exposure.
- Testing for retention reliability is advised when using Push-To-Connect fittings from other manufacturers.
Additional Information: Refer to pages 48-51 for chemical resistance and detailed tubing specifications.
