SuperMag blanket products, and all competitive products of similar chemistry, exhibit a loss of tensile strength when exposed to moisture. The extent of this loss of tensile strength depends on levels of exposure to moisture and conditions of storage. We recommend that these products be put into service as soon as possible after receipt, and that their use after six (6) months is undertaken only after thorough inspection of the blanket.
