SuperMag-HI is a high-temperature bulk fiber insulation with a high fiber index and low percentage of unfiberized particles. It is manufactured from a proprietary blend of calcium, silica, and magnesium oxides, making it a low bio-persistent fiber (LBP) with superior mechanical and insulation properties. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F) and is completely inorganic, producing zero smoke or outgassing when exposed to high temperatures. The high fiber index and elimination of large unfiberized particles provide superior insulation values.
