Overview: The document provides technical specifications and operational details for the ANTC_D2.2 wind vane anemoscope, designed by Nuova CEVA Automation for industrial applications. It includes information on its features, operation, and wiring.
Main Features:
  • Advanced wind vane anemoscope with analog signal output (4-20 mA).
  • Constructed from aluminum, resistant to water, dust, and UV rays.
  • Capable of measuring wind speeds up to 200 km/h.
  • Power supply requirement: 10-30 Vdc.
  • Designed for use in various industrial applications such as irrigation systems, greenhouses, solar trackers, and meteorological stations.
Operation:
  • The device measures wind direction and outputs an analog signal corresponding to the direction angle.
  • Wind direction is indicated by an analog output ranging from 4 mA (South) to 19 mA (South-Southeast).
  • Static wind conditions are indicated when wind speed is less than or equal to 3 km/h.
Technical Specifications:
  • Resolution: 0.5° with an accuracy of ±1%.
  • Operating temperature range: -20°C to +85°C (free of ice).
  • Storage temperature range: -40°C to +125°C.
  • Weight: Approximately 300 g.
  • Load impedance: Less than 500 ohms.
Wiring and Connection:
  • Uses a 3-wire connection for positive, negative, and output signal.
  • Connector type: M12 5 PIN.
  • Wind vane orientation requires alignment towards NORTH for accurate readings.
