Product catalog summary
Pulley Alignment
The LAB-Set uses two laser transmitters to project laser lines onto the opposite unit. Alignment is achieved by adjusting the pulleys so that the laser line coincides with the reference line on the opposite unit.
Mounting Instructions
Each unit is mounted on the pulley using strong magnets. Ensure fingers are not pinched. Position both units with spring action probes in the same groove on both pulleys, facing each other. Verify correct probe settlement by moving the units slightly along the groove.
Alignment Process
Turn on the lasers after mounting. Correct alignment is indicated when laser lines coincide with reference marks on both units. Begin by correcting angular errors if misalignment is detected. Ensure pulleys are correctly mounted and shafts are straight to avoid alignment issues.
V-guide Selector
The document provides a table for selecting the appropriate V-guide based on pulley groove width, belt profile, and pulley diameter.
Technical Specifications & Safety
The LAB-Set uses Class 2 laser diodes with power output <1mW. Safety precautions include avoiding direct eye exposure to the laser. The system complies with IEC-60825-1:2007 and other international standards. Key specifications include housing material (aluminium), weight (300g/unit), dimensions (61 x 77 x 61mm), and measurement accuracy (better than 0.5mm or 0.2 degrees).
