August 21, 2018 To our valued customers, Statement of Compliance on EU REACH Regulation (EC1907/2006) NOVUS Produtos Eletrônicos Ltda. is a supplier of “articles”, as defined in Article 33 of REACH. Article 33 requires NOVUS to provide the user of any articles it supplies with the details of any Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in excess of 0.1% by weight of the product, as well as sufficient information to ensure safe use of the product. This requirement is met by the assessment of the probability of SVHC contained in the components used in the manufacture of the products, based on material knowledge and declaration of suppliers of the materials and components used in the manufacturing process. NOVUS makes use of reliable well-known suppliers which ensure compliance with REACH requirements and are committed to supporting REACH regulations for the protection of the human health and the environment. However, as our evaluation relies on third-party information, data and testing, we cannot determine with certainty the accuracy of such third-party information. With that limitation in mind, we declare to the best of our knowledge that the 151 Substances of Very High Concern are not present in the products manufactured by NOVUS in concentrations above 0.1% of the weight of an article.
