TYPE OF FILLER MICROSPHERES HARDENER BETOX 50E KIND OF PUTTY POLYESTER 2K Multifunctional putty_ PROPERTIES: Modern multifunctional putty based on unique, very fine glass microspheres. Consistency of putty guarantees very easy application and smooth surface after drying. Low density decreases volume shrinkage and offers perfect, easy sanding. SLEEK 100 contains special Mixing Indicator and additives for reducing water absorption. GENERAL RULE Before sanding degrease surface with silicone remover PLUS 780. Remove dust with compressed air after sanding with appropriate abrasive materials to the type of surface. Degrease again with silicone remover Plus 780. Dry sand with P220-EP280. Make solvent test. If old coating is not resistant to solvent, should be removed to bare metal. For anticorrosive protection using PROTECT 360 or EPO PRIMER 3000 is strongly recommended. POLYESTER LAMINATES GALVANIZED STEEL Dry sand with P80-EP120. For anticorrosive protection using PROTECT 360 or EPO PRIMER 3000 is strongly recommended. Matt surface with a very fine abrasive finishing pad or dry sand with P2204-P240. For anticorrosive protection using PROTECT 360 or EPO PRIMER 3000 is strongly recommended. Matt surface with a very fine abrasive finishing pad or dry sand with P220-EP240. For anticorrosive protection using PROTECT 360 or EPO PRIMER 3000 is strongly recommended. Apply putty minimum 60min/20°C after application of PROTECT 360 or EPO PRIMER 3000. Sanding of epoxy primer is not necessary up to 12h/20°C before application of putty. Sand epoxy primer with a very fine abrasive finishing pad or dry sand with P220-EP280 after 12h/20°C. The putty should not be applied directly on reactive sealers (wash primer) or one-component acrylic and nitrocellulose products. Sand and clean substrate according to general rules. Well remove dust from sanding scratches. Degrease with PLUS 780. Add 2ml hardener to 100 ml SLEEK 100. Observe the required amount of hardener. Mix the components thoroughly until a uniform colour is obtained. Potlife from 4 to 6 minutes at 20oC. Thickness one single layer of putty should not exceed 1-2 mm. Total thickness layer of putty should not exceed 5 mm. Avoid too thick application on border between putty and metal.
