AC Meter Cards for OrionMX Two new AC measurement cards are available for the OrionMX: • The AC Meter Expansion Card (M1) - Provides a full set of accurate AC measurements from Bus 1. It also provides Phase A, B and C voltages from a second bus for source transfer and synchrocheck applications. • The AC Aux Meter Expansion Card (C1) – Attaches to the AC M1 Meter Card and provides additional AC measurements, including four split core current inputs from Line 2 (A, B, C, and N), one split core current input for measured neutral from Line 1, and one output for synchrocheck applications. When both cards above are added to an OrionMX, a complete set of AC measurements is available from the OrionMX to support monitoring and source transfer applications. Both the M1 and C1 cards are configured with NCD and require Distro 10.2, planned for release in Q1 2024. Non-intrusive Installation Both AC Meter Cards accept current inputs from split core auxiliary CTs. Split Core auxiliary CTs transform the 5A nominal in the CT circuit to 5mA (1000/1).
