System Configurations
Nordson cartridge booths are tailored for spray to waste powder coating applications or systems with approximately three colors or less. For single color or spray to waste applications, a fixed cartridge recovery module (NCB) is used, which is directly connected to the spray booth canopy and includes an integral direct drive fan for powder extraction.

For multi-color applications, a system with a mobile removable cartridge filter module (NQCB) is used, allowing for easy attachment of modules dedicated to different colors. Color modules are available in three types: M1 (spray to waste or single color, removable module), M2 (integral vibratory sieve, removable module), and M4 (integral rotary sieve, removable module).

Airflow and Filtration
The extraction airflow from the booth is provided by a fan stand unit above the module, which does not need to be removed during color changes. Both NCB and NQCB systems come with integral final filters to safely return exhaust air to the factory environment.
