The system features a drum carrier unit, custom drum lid, and up to three powder transfer pumps, each capable of delivering up to 200 lbs. (91 kg.) of powder per hour. In a typical operation, a level sensor is used with the hopper/ feeder to actuate the transfer pump(s) and maintain a continuous supply of powder material. Handling powder coating material in fiber drums rather than small boxes saves time and labor, and helps provide a cleaner operation. Drum change is easily handled by one operator. Buying powder coatings in bulk may also provide material cost savings.
