2600-003 Metering Valve Positive Displacement Shot Meter Valve Meters and Dispenses Small Amounts of Single-Component Material The 2600-003 Series positive displacement meter valve automatically dispenses a small, precisely measured shot volume of material. When actuated, the valve will meter and dispense small amounts (‘shots’) of a singlecomponent material. The system includes inlet and outlet check valves to ensure shot size consistency and a volume adjustment so you can pre-set the shot size. The metering valve is air-operated and includes hardened internal components and wear resistant seals. A typical metering valve dispensing system consists of the following components: Five-gallon or 55-gallon supply pump with 5:1 to 10:1 power ratio and bleed valve Hose assembly: specify length Metering valve assembly, bleed valve, dispense tip – specify shot size and material for seal and tip selection Specify system actuation style – select automation actuation, hand actuator or foot pedal actuator Features and Benefits Volume dispensed per shot is pre-set from 0.2 cc up to 2.0 cc shot size and is manually adjustable The all-pneumatic double-acting valve design allows for very fast repetitive cycling High degree of accuracy with precise and repeatable shot size volumes Allows dispensing of low- to high-viscosity materials Can be mounted to fixed or movable tooling Adapts to manual start or automation controlled dispensing Actuated by automation, hand or footswitch actuator valve 2600-003-005-AA Metering Valve Shown with Removable N
