Pro-Meter ® G System Urethane dispensing system provides consistent, reliable performance and ease of use. The Nordson Pro-Meter G system is specifically designed for robotic application of high viscosity adhesives, including urethanes, silicones, butyls and hot melt materials. The system combines field-proven durability with ease of use for precision material application, operator to operator and shift to shift. A typical Pro-Meter G system consists of the following components: Nordson Pro-Meter G gear pump CE20 HiVisc dispensing module System controller Rhino® bulk unloaders The system is ideal for dispensing adhesives and sealants on a wide range of automotive glass. Features and Benefits Proportional flow capability provides continuous, consistent bead size and eliminates squeeze-out of excess material. Positive displacement gear pump provides precise volumetric output. Spur gear design on gear pump eliminates side loads, reducing the likelihood of premature wear. System controller provides fast identification of faults in system pressure and volumetric output, minimizing downtime. Optional bubble detection feature alerts the operator to skips in the dispensed bead, improving quality and reducing scrap. Unique seal design on gear pump provides long seal life, reducing maintenance. Automatic and manual flow control allows for output proportional to the analog robot signal or a constant, manually set output for added flexibility. Flow rate adjustment in both automatic and manual modes permits the adjustment of bead height, eliminating the need to reprogram the robot. windshields back lights side glass sunroofs The viscosity of adhesives can vary due to temperature, shear thinning and batch-to-batch chemistry. To maintain consistent output as material viscosity changes, the Pro-Meter G system incorporates a positive displacement gear pump to provide precise volumetric output. Depending on the system configuration, the gear pump can be mounted directly on the robot arm or on its own stand. The system is available in a variety of displacements to meet specific application requirements.
