A singleplatform design provides compatibility with Universal applicators, existing HMS applicator installations, and ITW Dynatec® applicators. A flexible design provides compatibility with Universal applicators and accepts numerous dispensing technologies, including Summit™, CF®, Signature™, SureWrap® and MiniBead nozzles. The pneumatically-actuated 50-millimeter-wide module maximizes coating coverage and reduces equipment investment by using 50 percent fewer modules. A flexible design meets specific laminating coverage requirements with UM50 module and nozzle combinations on applicator manifolds in widths of 250 and 500 millimeters. End-to-end manifold mounting accommodates wide coating widths. To update existing installations, an adapter plate is available to mount the UM50 module on applicator manifolds equipped with modules on 25-millimeter centers. A patented single-screw clamp permits quick nozzle replacement, enabling fast changeovers and trouble-free cleaning.
