CONFORMAL COATING SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS: EASY COAT® FOR WINDOWS NT® Easy Coat® NT® (ECNT) software is a Windows NT application for use with Asymtek’s Century® selective conformal coating systems. The software, written specifically for conformal coating, offers flexibility beyond generic motion control/dispensing packages within a familiar Windows NT environment. ECNT software incorporates easy-to-use, integrated cut, copy, paste and delete functions common in Windows applications. Multiple coating instruction commands can be edited simultaneously, minimizing the time required to make programming and pattern changes. Programs can be created and modified on the manufacturing floor or off-line for later importing. The software allows multiple stop locations for extended pallets as well as pallet identification. An on-line help file is available to assist users during programming. Separate operator and programmer access levels ensure programs are not modified accidentally. Production personnel simply select the appropriate part or coating program number and start production by clicking a button. LOG FILE AND PROCESS MONITORING Conformal coating system activity is automatically recorded in a log file. Start up, run time, average cycle time and other critical production data is captured in a logging package for monitoring events, warnings and errors. The log files are configurable, allowing users to record periodic events like idle time, purge time and brush time for analysis and process improvement. SCREEN VIEW ECNT software has an innovative interface to simultaneously view coating program instructions and details. An outline (or tree view) of program data appears on the left-hand side of the screen, and instruction details can be viewed and edited on the right-hand side.
