The operator releases the holdown to raise the deck, then walks the platform down to extend the lip onto the truck bed. The deck floats and cants with the truck during loading, with a standard 16" lip engaging a truck bed 12" above and below floor level.

The platform is a unitized welded structure with continuous welds for maximum strength.
