Feature Summary:
The CONSTRUCTOR™ Series mechanical dock levelers are designed for strength, convenience, and reliability. Key features include a smooth and easy walkout lip extension, center position holdown to eliminate deck twist, and a heavy-duty spring counterbalance system. The levelers are equipped with black and yellow stripes on side skirts, a full-width rear hinge rod, and dual side beam to deck weld patterns for enhanced durability. Additional features include an open frame design for easy pit cleaning, a dual pawl holdown system, integral maintenance support, and security night lock. Two dock bumpers are included.

Specifications:
The dock levelers come with an 18" or 20" long lip, zinc-plated hinge rods, grease fittings on the front hinge, and full-range telescoping side guards. Center deck reinforcement is required when using three-wheel forklifts. The levelers are available in capacity ratings from 25,000 to 45,000 lbs, with standard nominal sizes of 6 & 7 feet wide x 6 & 8 feet long.

Construction:
The unitized platform structure features a 33% dual side beam to deck weld pattern and continuous welds at the header plate and hinge tubes for superior strength. The deck plate, lip plate, and beam sections are constructed from minimum 50–55,000 PSI yield material. The fixed rear hinge provides 4" of side-to-side tilt with no pinch point, supported by a minimum of five solid steel rear supports and a full-width rear hinge rod.

Operation:
The operator releases the holdown at the rear of the platform to raise the deck, then walks the platform down to extend the lip onto the truck bed. The deck floats up and down and can tilt side to side with the truck during loading. The standard 16” long lip engages a truck bed 12” above and below floor level.

Models include CM-66 (6'0" x 6'0"), CM-68 (6'0" x 8'0"), CM-76 (7'0" x 6'0"), and CM-78 (7'0" x 8'0"). Capacities range from 25,000 to 45,000 lbs.
