Overview
Nordic Water's ZICKERT offers innovative static floc builders designed to enhance water distribution and flocculation in sedimentation tanks. These devices, which have no moving parts, are installed over sludge pits and utilize existing tank structures, particularly in circular tanks, requiring minimal modifications.

Specifications and Features
The floc builders, including the Z4000 FlocBee and the Z4500 PavaFloc, are constructed from stainless steel ASTM 304 L or acid-resistant steel ASTM 316 L. They are available in pre-assembled small versions or larger sections for on-site assembly. The Z4000 FlocBee consists of two cylinders with a solid bottom, while the Z4500 PavaFloc features a conical central vessel to handle variable flow rates, enhancing flocculation through a damping effect.

Applications
The Z4500 PavaFloc and Z4000 FlocBee are suitable for various water treatment applications, including pre-precipitation, simultaneous precipitation, biological flocculation/sedimentation, post-precipitation, drinking-water purification, and industrial wastewater treatment.

Installation and Capacity
These floc builders can be installed in both rectangular and circular sedimentation tanks. The capacity is dependent on the incoming flow to the tank, and dimensions should be tailored based on JAR test results and flow data. For wide tanks, using two Z4000 FlocBees in parallel is recommended.
