Lamp Compartment: EEX nA II T5/T4, Class 1 Zone 2, IP 65. The Armada range includes 18W and 36W single and twin lamps, fully enclosed non-corrosive luminaires.

Application
Armada luminaires are suitable for dusty, humid, hazardous environments and industrial installations such as wash houses, breweries, food processing, pharmaceutical factories, chemical, and petrochemical installations.

Construction
The body is made from deep pressed moulding stainless steel AISI-304 with 0.80mm thickness. The frame is a single piece of pressed stainless steel AISI-304 with 1.00mm thickness. The diffuser is 4mm thick tempered glass sealed with a continuous silicon ring. The frame is attached to the body with unloosable cylindric head, recessed hexagonal key stainless steel screws. A closed cell rubber gasket ensures IP 65 ingress protection. The gear tray is made of AISI-304 stainless steel with 1.00mm thickness and remains hinged during maintenance.

Electrical
Control gear is switch start as standard, rated at 230V or 240V 50Hz. High-frequency electronic ballast is available. High-temperature PVC insulated wiring is used. The standard lampholder has 2 pins for TLD fluorescent lamps, with options for 4 pins or special lampholders.

Mechanical
Cable entries are 21 mm as standard, with other sizes available on request. Recessed suspension lugs are fitted for chain suspension. The luminaire can be fixed directly to the mounting surface or suspended on conduit via reinforced 20 mm conduit entries.

Mounting Accessories
Two small brackets are welded to the body for ceiling fixing or suspension without through holes or screws.

Specification
Designed in accordance with standards EN60598-1, EN60598-2-1, EN50021, and compliant with Electromagnetic Compatibility according to European Directive 89/336/EC (EMC).
