Specifications
The Arian 2 is a die-cast aluminium floodlight with integral control gear, designed for use with 70W HPS and 70W/150W HQI lamps. It features a lamp compartment with an IP 65 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.

Ordering Data
The floodlight is available in various configurations, including empty models and those equipped with specific lamps such as 70W HQI, 150W HQI, and 70W HPS with or without ignitor. The weight of the units ranges from 3.50 kg to 6.10 kg.

The Arian 2 is ideal for small to medium-sized applications, offering energy savings of 70% compared to traditional tungsten models and a longer lamp life. It is suitable for security lighting, car parks, storage areas, and the floodlighting of buildings and monuments.

Construction
The floodlight's body and frame are made from die-cast aluminium with a UV-protected metallic grey polyester paint to prevent corrosion. It features an anodized high-grade dimpled aluminium reflector for an efficient wide beam. The glass is secured within the frame, which is attached to the body with stainless steel hooks, and a silicon rubber sealing gasket ensures IP 65 ingress protection.

Electrical
The control gear box includes a PG 11 cable gland and a 3-way terminal block. The gear tray is made from zinc-coated steel and is easily accessible. High-temperature silicon insulated conductors are used throughout.

Mechanical
A galvanized stirrup allows for easy positioning on various surfaces.

Accessories
A steel wire guard is available to protect the glass cover from impact damage.
