Specifications: The sensor assembly can be mounted on the ink pail cover or a Norcross viscosity measuring element. It connects to a transmitter via a plastic pipe with internal wiring, converting the pH probe signal into a 4-20 mA DC signal for the MP2000pH controller.
Operation: Operators set a desired pH value in the controller, which compares it with the actual pH. If the pH falls below the setpoint, the controller activates an amine addition valve for a specified duration. The controller includes a time delay feature, allowing amine addition every two minutes.
Maintenance: Regular calibration of the pH sensor assembly is necessary. The system includes accessories such as a test meter, pH probe support, buffered solutions, and a carrying case to facilitate calibration. The sensor tip must remain in ink or water to prevent drying or damage, which would require replacement and recalibration.
Installation: The tank mount pH assembly can be attached to the lid of an ink pail or a viscosity measuring element. A mounting bracket, ordered separately, secures the sensor assembly to the pail cover.
