Water-cooled transformer & chokes Type 3LT-AFWF Noratel introduces a whole new range of transformers with water-cooled enclosure solutions for distribution and converter transformers, both low- and medium voltage. The AFWF design is based on well proven technology, Noratel emphasis on a high degree of customization for flexible mechanical solutions and ease of installation “on site”. The AFWF design transport heat loss effectively away from the transformer and the surroundings so that a stable ambient temperature is obtained regardless of the location / season. AFWF design also reduces cooling power requirement from ambient temperature. Application: Typical applications will be shipbuilding, offshore and process industries where there are requirements for low cooling effect from ambient temperature.
