OverviewNoisecom's noise
diodes are essential components for noise systems, providing broadband noise generation with a flat response. These diodes produce symmetrical white Gaussian noise and maintain flat output power across frequencies. They are hermetically sealed and available in various package styles, with custom configurations available upon request.
Product Series- NC100 and NC200 Series: Designed for audio and RF applications.
- NC300 and NC400 Series: Suitable for microwave applications requiring a 50-ohm impedance.
Specifications- Output: White Gaussian Noise
- Operating Temperature: 0°C to +55°C for NC100 series; -55°C to +125°C for others
- Storage Temperature: -65°C to +150°C
Applications
These diodes are used in built-in test equipment and dither circuitry for A/D converters.
Technical Details- Typical small signal impedance for NC300 and NC400 Series is 10-20 ohms after biasing.
- Output levels vary with frequency and current: higher output at low frequencies with low currents, and greater output at higher frequencies with higher currents.
