Introduction
NOGACOOL systems are designed to direct cutting fluid efficiently during machining processes such as turning, drilling, and tapping. The systems are available in three designs: NOGACOOL, MINICOOL, and COBRA, each offering unique cooling solutions.
NOGACOOL
NOGACOOL consists of a manifold and a flexible Loc-Line® hose with a nozzle and valve, mounted on a powerful on/off Popeye magnet. It is supplied with three nozzle sizes (1/16”, 1/8”, 1/4”) and operates under specific conditions: pressure of 2-3.4 Bar (30-50 Psi), flow rate of 940 l/hour (250 gal/hour), and a maximum working temperature of 170°C. The system can be customized with different hose lengths and nozzle sizes.
MINICOOL
MINICOOL uses the VENTURI principle to spray an air and liquid mixture. It includes a control valve, spray unit, air line, syphon line, and a Popeye magnet. The system allows control over air and liquid flow rates and is available in various lengths for both hoses and spray units. It is designed for maximum heat dissipation and extended tool life.
COBRA
The COBRA drop ejector is designed to deliver precise quantities of liquid to specific targets using an air-actuated piston. It can be set up for single drops, finely dispersed droplets, or independent drops and air jets. The system operates with clean air at pressures of 3-9 bar and can handle liquids with viscosities up to 250 cst. Various setup options and accessories are available to customize the COBRA system.
Operating Instructions
For COBRA, the fluid can be supplied directly or via a large container connected by a hose. The pneumatic circuit setup can be adjusted for different drop sizes and spray patterns. The system includes options for mechanical or automatic pulse generation to control the drop delivery.
