Introduction
The MST-EX/2.9V is a combustible gas sensor developed by Ningxia MaiYa Sensor Technology Development Co., LTD. It is designed to detect leaks of various combustible gases such as natural gas, petroleum gas, and urban gas, with a detection range from 0 to 100% LEL. It is not suitable for detecting Class ppm combustible gases.

Features
The sensor boasts excellent stability, reproducibility, and accuracy. It provides a linear output corresponding to the fuel gas concentration and features fast response characteristics. It is available in four standard series.

Applications
This sensor is used for detecting concentrations of natural gas, liquefied gas, methane, and organic solvent vapors like gasoline, alcohol, ketone, and benzene. It is suitable for use in flammable gas leakage alarms, combustible gas detectors, and gas concentration meters.

Structure and Circuit
The sensor's catalytic element consists of a detection element and a compensation element. The working principle is illustrated in the accompanying figures.

Sensitivity and Stability
The sensor's sensitivity characteristics and response recovery properties are detailed in the document, along with its stability, including zero-drift in the air and sensitivity to 0.5% CH4.

Precautions
To ensure proper functioning and longevity, the sensor should not be dropped or subjected to strong impacts. It should be protected from hydrogen sulfide and silicon organic environments, and the rated voltage should not be exceeded. The sensor should not be submerged in water and should be stored in sealed plastic bags for long-term storage. It must be used in environments where combustible gas concentrations are below the explosion limit and not in anaerobic conditions.
