The Basalt Fiber Needle Mat is constructed from interspersed single basalt fibers that form a non-directional, three-dimensional porous structure. The fibers, measuring 7-9μm, contribute to a large surface area and approximately 80% porosity. This material is non-boron and suitable for advanced air filtration, purification, thermal acoustic insulation, and high-temperature applications.
Applications
The mat is used in advanced air filtration systems, electronics industry filtration, sound absorption, heat insulation, and anti-vibration systems. It is also applicable in chemical, toxic, and harmful gas filtration, smoke and dust filtration systems, car mufflers, ships, and ship insulation for thermal insulation and noise reduction.
Temperature and Resistance
The exploitation temperature range of the basalt fiber needle mat is from -200°C to +700°C. It is highly resistant to aggressive media, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
