The Aluminum Coated Fiberglass Exhaust Header Wrap is designed with an inner layer of pure virgin glass fiber and an outer layer of aluminum alloy mylar foil. It is available in thicknesses of 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, and 3mm, and widths ranging from 25mm to 200mm. The wrap can withstand continuous temperatures of 1030°F and offers radiant heat protection up to 2000°F. It is metallic silver in color and features a premium weave that maintains its integrity.
Applications:
This product is versatile and can be used to wrap various components such as air intakes, intercoolers, superchargers, turbo pipes, starters, hoses, wiring, and cold air induction systems. It is effective in protecting body parts and components by reflecting heat away, thus keeping internal air and parts cooler and more efficient.
