GW4 Series Outdoor HV Disconnecting Switch The GW4 series outdoor HV disconnecting switch is widely used in power plants, transformer substations and big industrial and mining enterprises. In three-phase AC 50Hz circuit, it switches on/off circuit when having voltage and no load. The electric and mechanical properties conform to nation standards of GB1985 AC HV Disconnecting Switch and Grounding Switch and DL486 AC HV Disconnecting Switch Order Technical Condition and I EC standard. The GW4 series disconnecting switch is a kind of double-post disconnecting switches. It is a monopole type. When using triple pole, connect interelectrode by the zone axis and synchronize triple pole. The GW4 series disconnecting switch is composed of base, post insulator and conduction part. Each pole of the GW4 series disconnecting switch has two knob insulators installed on the bearing, connected with Connecting-rod (the GW4-10 series disconnecting switch has only one knob insulator installed on the bearing, and the other one fixed on the other side). It can circumgyrate horizontally. The GW4 series disconnecting switch conduction switch blade is separated to two parts fixed on two knob insulators, and make switch on/off horizontally. The contacting position of contact is on the middle between two knob insulators. When using operating mechanism and turn electric conductor 91° ,the other knob insulator and electric conductor will also turn 91° (when the operating mechanism of the GW4-10 series disconnecting switch work, only the knob insulator installed on base bearing and electric conductor turn 91° , the other will be fixed). So the switch blade will switch on/off alone the same direction. Normal working environment 6.No burning or explosion hazard, chemical corrosion or excessive vibration.
