TOLCO has introduced a new Copper-Tec™ epoxy finish that meets the Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS) requirements. This finish offers enhanced protection compared to traditional copper-plated finishes by acting as a protective barrier between metal pipes and hangers.
The Copper-Tec™ epoxy finish is recognized for its superior performance over traditional copper coatings for hangers used with copper tubes. It complies with MSS-SP 58 standards, which require copper plating for identification and emphasize the importance of separating dissimilar metals to prevent galvanic reactions that lead to rapid corrosion.
