Overview
Newmark Systems, Inc. offers a range of rotary stages designed for precision positioning applications. These stages are suitable for various uses, from lightweight optical positioning to heavy-duty machine tool applications. The stages are machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, providing a lightweight yet stable platform.

RT Series Rotary Stages
The RT Series includes the RT-2, RT-3, and RT-5 models, each featuring a size 17 stepper motor. These stages are characterized by their compact design, low profile, and cost-effectiveness. They utilize a thrust bearing system for table movement, ensuring stability and low cost. A proprietary gear preload system ensures zero backlash.

• RT-2 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.32 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 80:1, max load of 15 lbs, and max speed of 20°/sec.
• RT-3 Specifications: Resolution of 0.29 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 90:1, max load of 45 lbs, and max input speed of 900 RPM.
• RT-5 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.36 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 72:1, max load of 100 lbs, and max input speed of 1200 RPM.

RM Series Rotary Stages
The RM Series includes the RM-3, RM-5, RM-8, and RMS-5 models, featuring larger diameter tops and higher load capacities. These stages are designed with a single preloaded crossed roller bearing, improving axial runout and wobble.

• RM-3 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.29 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 90:1, max load of 150 lbs, and max input speed of 900 RPM.
• RM-5 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.36 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 72:1, max load of 275 lbs, and max input speed of 1200 RPM.
• RM-8 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.32 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 80:1, max load of 700 lbs, and max input speed of 1500 RPM.
• RMS-5 Specifications: Repeatability of 5 arc-seconds, resolution of 0.36 arc-seconds, gear ratio of 72:1, max load of 80 lbs, and max speed of 200°/sec with a servo motor.

Digital Read Out Unit
The DRO unit provides instant position feedback with an 8-digit display and can be configured with any RT or RM Series rotary stage.
