NB3010 Series Brinell Hardness Tester - 1

NEWAGE® NB3010 Series Brinell Hardness Tester Specification Sheet The NEWAGE® NB-3010 Series is a benchtop, Brinell hardness tester ideal for occasional lab testing to high frequency testing on rough and large specimens such as castings, forgings, structural members and other components with substantial wall sections. The NB3010 is ideal for foundry environments, metallurgical plants, industrial laboratories, and virtually any application where the Brinell scale is utilized to determine hardness between 8-650 HBW. The NB3010 is an automatic hardness tester that uses pneumatically actuated deadweights to precisely apply loads at 187.5, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500 or 3000 kgf. Dwell times can be selected from 12, 30, or 60-second rates with a pushbutton. The instrument has LEDs that indicate Loading, Dwell Time and Unloading test status. The instrument is supplied with a precision 10mm tungsten carbide ball indenter with NIST Certificate. The resulting indentation can be measured optically with the optional HiLight® 20X Brinell scope or with our optional B.O.S.S. Brinell Optical Scanning System. Using our optional software, a personal computer is used to display and measure test impressions; to store test results; and to print test reports. Operator influences and bias is eliminated using the B.O.S.S. software. The NB-3010 is supplied with the following standard accessories: 10mm tungsten carbide ball indenter, 3-inch Vee anvil, 3-inch flat anvil, 4.125-inch flat, vinyl cover, tools for setup, accessories case, spare fuse and conversion chart. Options include 2.5 mm and 5 mm tungsten carbide ball indenters, foot pedal controller, 20X Brinell scope, and our B.O.S.S. Brinell Optical Scanning System for automated measurement and data analysis. The NB-3010LB is supplied with the same standard accessories as the NB-3010 plus our B.O.S.S. Brinell Optical Scanning System. Meets ASTM E-10 and ISO 6506 Deadweight Loading at better than 1% Accuracy Pneumatic Actuation Ensures Constant Applied Loading and No Overload Conditions Simple, Pushbutton Operation is Automatic No Warm-Up Period Necessary for Optimum Productivity Minimal Maintenance Requirements Optimize Measurement with Optional B.O.S.S.® Brinell Optical Scanning System Vertical Capacity: Throat Depth: Load Range (kgf): Dwell Times: Air Requirements: Power: Operating Temp: Warranty: The optional B.O.S.S.® Brinell Optical Scanning System increases testing efficiency and operator productivity while eliminating operator bias compared to analysis using a Brinell scope.
