Sikkens NK3000 scratch tool Corrosion test Cutting tool especially designed for cutting panel or specimens with coatings or test panels for salt fog corrosión tests, as described in the standards ISO 12944-6:2018, ISO 17872, ISO 9227. Characteristics The test can be carried out with three cutting blades: • 0.5mm blade, Daimler Chrysler • 1mm blade, Sikkens® original version • 2mm blade, complies with ISO 12944-6 standard, updated in 2018 The blade is specially designed with a support that facilitates the position of the blade when making the cut. The tilting movement of the head compensates for the possible movement of the hand. All this together with the ergonomic handle makes cutting easier and requires less force.
