Applications
The Neue Herbold SM range of heavy-duty granulators is designed for universal applications, capable of processing large headwaste lumps, purgings, massive profiles, thick-walled pipes, and other items with extreme wall thickness. The granulators can be adjusted for processing larger hollow parts like containers, drums, and crates, making them suitable for comprehensive recycling operations.

Design
The SM granulators feature a 'double cross cutting action' with oppositely inclined rotor and stator blades, ensuring precise cutting with lower power consumption, noise, and fines. Blades are pre-adjusted outside the machine using a setting jig. Bearings are mounted outside the granulator chamber to prevent contamination. The housing is welded and fracture-proof, with optional wear plates for added protection.

Rotor/Stator Knife Adjustment
Knife adjustments are made outside the granulator using an adjustment fixture, simplifying the installation process.
