Applications
The NEUE HERBOLD ZM pulverizer range is designed for pulverizing semi-rigid, brittle, and impact-resistant materials into a powdered form. It processes granulate sizes of 6-8 mm into powder within the 300-1000 micron range. Typical materials include LDPE, HDPE, UPVC, PC, and other plastics.

Design
The ZM pulverizers are high-output units with optional automatic temperature control. Material is fed centrally between a fixed and a high-speed rotating disc, utilizing centrifugal force for processing. The particle size is influenced by material type, disc construction, and disc spacing. A screening machine with a coarse refeed unit can be integrated if needed.
