FILTRATION MED PZR APPLICATION OF NEGATIVE PRESSURE TO THE PRESSURISER * available in IODAIR version - independent from MED CP - for site with iodine risk To protect operators and their environment + Mobile ventilation unit intended to apply negative pressure to the pressuriser. It can be controlled by the MED CP (negative pressure applied to the primary circuit) + Specifically designed to comply with DT 288 (the edf framework and Technical Directive) + Coated in decontaminable paint + Equipped with : • THE polydiedre filter • Iodine trap with activated carbon • Heating battery • Control and safety systems. OPERATING PRINCIPLE + Air is sucked in via a flexible duct (0 300 mm) equipped with quick-fit connectors. + The air passes through a « nuclear » absolute filter, an electric heater coil in order not to exceed 40 % relative humidity in the air and then an active charcoal filter to trap radioactive iodine. + Negative pressure is applied to the whole assemble by a UNILINE® fan. + The discharge can be equipped with a 0 300 quick fit connector to allow a flexible duct to be connected.. + Replacement of the absolute filter is performed in a vinyl bag to avoid spreading any contamination during this procedure. MED PZR IS EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING AS STANDARD : + An electrical control and power cabinet + Built-in filter blocked pressure switch (continuous pressure loss detection and configurable set-point value) + 2 limit switches for the absolute filter and iodine filter. If the filter is incorrectly positioned, the absence of contact prohib its the starting of the differential pressure device. A defect indicator is associated with this contact. + Automatic fan re-start in the event of power failure + 4,5 kW heating battery + A RS485 connection is available for the radioprotection station The manufacturer formally reserves the right to make any modifications it considers suitable to its models.
