MED GV APPLICATION OF NEGATIVE PRESSURE TO STEAM GENERATORS To protect operators and their environment + M obile ventilation unit for drying of the loops on the primary side and to apply negative pressure to the steam generators. + Equipped with : • THE polydiedre filter • Iodine trap with activated carbon • Heating battery • Control and safety systems. OPERATING PRINCIPLE + Ai r is sucked in via a flexible duct (0 300 mm) equipped with quick-fit connectors. + The air passes through a « nuclear » absolute filter and then an active charcoal filter to trap radioactive iodine. + Negative pressure is applied to the whole assembly by a UNILINE fan. + The sucked air is heated so that the relative humidity does not exceed 40 %. MED GV IS EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING AS STANDARD + Remote electrical control and power cabinet + Built-in filter control switch with continuous pressure loss detection and configurable set-point value + Dual temperature and hygrometry probe with continuous reading and configuration of setpoint values + Flow meter for continuous reading of the air flow rate + Two limit switches for the absolute filter and iodine filter + Automatic fan re-start in the event of power failure + Heati ng battery + A RS485 connection is available for the radioprotection station The manufacturer formally reserves the right to make any modifications it considers suitable to its models.
