Product catalog summary
Introduction
The IODAIR® 600 is a mobile differential pressure device designed to apply negative pressure to airlocks where iodine is present, ensuring the containment of radioactive particles to protect people and the environment.
Specifications
  • Equipped with an absolute filter and an iodine absorber.
  • Applies negative pressure for static and dynamic containment.
  • Can connect directly to a hood or indirectly to a pipe network.
Operation
  • Air flows through a nuclear-type absolute filter and an activated carbon filter to trap radioactive iodine.
  • Negative pressure is maintained by a UNILINE®-type fan.
  • Extracted air is heated to keep relative humidity below 40%.
  • Filter replacement is performed in a vinyl bag to prevent contamination spread.
  • Device is coated with decontaminable epoxy paint.
Standard Features
  • Two limit switch-type contacts for filter positioning with fault indicator display.
  • Automatic phase inverter and discontactor with thermal protection.
  • Lockable switch, pressure switch, and clogging indicator.
  • Emergency stop and reset button, air heater, and LED test push-button.
  • Audible alarm at 105 dB(A) for fault indication.
  • Battery with built-in charger and alarm relay connector.
  • Includes 10 meters of cable.

IODAIR® 600-1

For protecting people and their natural environment from the spreading of radioactive particles. The IODAIR® 600 is a mobile differential pressure device used to apply negative pressure to airlocks for the dynamic containment of sites which could be contaminated. It is equipped with an absolute filter and an iodine absorber. + Static/dynamic containment The IODAIR® 600 is used to apply negative pressure to airlocks and ensure the filtering of dispersed pollutants. + Direct dynamic containment Connection to a hood: the negative pressure ensures the filtering of dispersed pollutants (valves) + Indirect dynamic containment Connection to a pipe network. The manufacturer formally reserves the right to make any necessary modifications to its models

IODAIR® 600-2

OPERATION + Air flows successively through a “nudear“-type absolute filter and an activated carbon filter to trap radioactive iodine. + Negative pressure is applied to the whole assembly by a UNILINE®-type fan. + The extracted air is heated so that the relative humidity does not exceed 40%. The outlet can be fitted with a swivel connector to enable connection of a flexible duct. + Replacement of the absolute filter is performed in a vinyl bag to prevent the contaminants from spreading during this procedure. + The IODAIR® is coated in decontaminable epoxy paint. As standard, it is equipped with...
